Throw a Delightful Kid’s Flower or Flower Power Birthday Party!
FlowerFlowerpower Party Thoughts
There are 2 ways you can Choose a Flowerpower Party, one botanical and one groovy:
A botanical style Flower Power Party can be achieved with just blossoms as the major motif or a specific blossom as the theme (a”Daisy Party” or a”Coming up Roses” Party).
Then there is the”Groovy 1960’s, hippies and flowers” type party… flowerpower!
Flower Party Decorations
Create blossoms out of whatever : tissue paper, sensed / pom poms and pipe cleaners.
Have the kiddies Wear a Flower inside their own Hair
Create daisy-chains (easy peasy… slit the stem of the first daisy and thread the second daisy throughout the slit and so on and so on… )
Stronger blossoms could be cut right out of foam center or bristol paper and hung on the walls.
Paper mobiles are interesting too (dental floss is sufficiently strong to put up all manner of lighter decorations).
Lollipops might be pushed through the middle of a newspaper flower shape to make sweet-tasting blossoms.
Real figurines are beautiful (can be as easy as a few daisies from the garden).
Additionally you may perform a little decorating outside: string up some affordable silk blossoms into a garland, or re-string a few old leis.
Paint a few bamboo skewers green (or use green gardening stakes) glue blossoms to the top and”plant” them all over the yard.
Decorate the sidewalk or drive with colourful scatter drawings.
Scatter blossom petals up to the front door (only practical when you own a flowering shrub that really needs a serious trimming).
Groovy Flower Party Decorations
If it’s a 60’s party motif you are trying for, don’t forget the กระดาษห่อเหรียญ great 1960’s music! Burn up some Incense, replace the regular lightbulbs with different coloured ones. Move out the guitar and Bongo Drums!
Thrift stores may provide a wealth of fun (and cheap) 1960’s items: Macrame, string art, and also retro games to the children to play (such as Twister or Ker-plunk).
Decorate with rainbows and peace signs and psychedelic colours, (paper may be adorned tie-dye style by dipping paper to saucers of water.)
Discover that old Lava Lamp and people vintage bell bottom jeans, and people colourful pinon buttons.
Teach the kids some 60’s Slang: Keep on Trucking, What’s your handbag? , Wicked! , Do not be a Square, Let us Hang Loose,” Let’s Split up,That’s Outta Sight! , Righteous! , Cool Threads Dude! , Far Outside, Jelly Roll Hair, and also the Perennial favourite… GROOVY!

Make flowers, or plant real ones in terracotta pots that you’ve decorated with fine paint(make certain that you’ve implanted the seeds/flowers before decorating them as the bloated paint takes a long time to dry).
Require the Kids to a Botanical Garden if you have one in your town
Make it an Educational Party- Create a Game out of it! – not like”Who would like to become a Millionaire?” However, with Flower-themed Questions
Educate the children a little Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arranging) buy some blossom skins or”Kenzan” (a small metal disc with spikes on it which retain the flowers in position). Let them collect their creations… keep down the costs from mixing storebought flowers with greenery in the garden. Often with these arrangements”Less is More” which means that you do not need to buy that lots of blossoms!
Decorate inexpensive gardening visors with vibrant paints.
Perform Flower Bingo
Perform a”Bucket Brigade” kind of relay where you’ve got to”water that the plant” maybe utilizing a Garden Spade to so attentively fill a cup with water that the cup might have a flower inside it… first team to fill out the cup to the brim wins!
Have a wheelbarrow race
Try a burlap bag race
ditch the _____ on the blossom… (perhaps a Ladybug)

Make Love beads – old-style – by rolling up extended triangles of cutup colourful magazine pages within a skewer and the brushing with a white paste”glaze”.
